The Night Market Experience
As it nears 3am here in Beijing, I can hardly keep my eyes open enough to blog about the ridiculous experience of the Night Market. However, I know those of you in the Western hemisphere are looking so forward to hearing from me... so here are a few photos to get you appetized for tomorrow's mega-blog about Chinese karaoke and the street market. Donald Duck's head
Skewers with some bugs that have pinchers on their southern end. Some being small dragons.
Glazed to make them sweet and more crunchy.
Fresh fruit....very artistic..pineapple, tomato, kiwi, etc.
More bugs/
duck, chicken, other ??? on bamboo skewers.
Sorry, all my mind can remember are those pinchers on the southern end of those bugs.....and the small dragons.
The last picture....makes me think its something wrapped in a leaf???? to look like a bug. The red heads on the others....surely aren't real....maybe its a cinnamon candy on this body of a make believe bug.?????
